Round, square or rectangular: how should you specify a liner shape?
Shape names help organize a liner range, but a name alone is not a complete specification. A buyer still needs the base measurements, height, paper weight, colour and pack format. Zhongji's published air fryer liner range contains three plain round sizes, six plain square sizes, six rectangular sizes and four tabbed sizes. This guide shows how to use those groups in an inquiry and sample review. It does not assign any format to a named appliance or claim that one shape has better cooking performance.
What belongs in a shape comparison?
Put the complete measurement sequence beside the shape. Round liners use base diameter × height. Square and rectangular liners use base length × width × height. The opening is wider than the base in this range, so keep its confirmation separate from the listed base dimensions. If your team is considering more than one format, give each candidate its own row. That makes it possible to discuss an alternative without silently changing the shape or size of the product that was originally requested.
| Shape family | Published formats | Specification to record |
|---|---|---|
| Plain round | 16 × 4.5; 20 × 4.5; 23 × 4.5 cm | Base diameter and height |
| Plain square | Six listed sizes | Both base dimensions and height |
| Rectangular | Six listed sizes | Base length, base width and height |
| Round with tabs | 16 × 4.5; 20 × 4.5 cm | Diameter, height and confirmed tab outline |
| Square with tabs | 16 × 16 × 4.5; 20 × 20 × 4.5 cm | Base dimensions, height and confirmed tab outline |
How do you review a round candidate?
Begin with the intended basket's internal measurements and compare the listed base diameter. Ask for the opened liner's top dimension if your drawing requires it, since that measurement is not supplied by the catalogue label. Include a photograph showing where the basket measurement was taken. During sample review, record the actual candidate being examined, including whether it has tabs. The plain round and round tabbed options share some listed base diameters, but a shared diameter does not document the same complete outline or packaging arrangement.
What should you notice in the square range?
The six plain square sizes are 14 × 14 × 4.5, 16 × 16 × 4.5, 20 × 20 × 4.5, 23 × 23 × 4.5, 12 × 12 × 5 and 16 × 16 × 7 cm. These labels make height part of the product identity. When you select a sample, preserve all three dimensions on its review sheet. If the basket has a particular corner profile, include it in the drawing and ask for a sample comparison. The published base dimensions alone do not establish the opened corner geometry.
How do you avoid ambiguity with rectangular formats?
Record both base sides and specify your measurement orientation. The published rectangular sizes are 20.5 × 13.5 × 4.5, 22 × 14 × 4.5, 20.5 × 15.5 × 5, 22 × 17 × 5, 28 × 15 × 5 and 31 × 20.5 × 5 cm. Do not shorten an inquiry to the longer side or group all rectangles under one size label. Attach a dimensioned drawing where the opening, corners or height are important to your requirement, then review those details on the opened sample.
Should tabs be treated as a separate feature?
Yes. The product list names tabbed round and square formats separately. Keep that distinction in the sample request, artwork brief and order description. Ask to confirm tab shape and position, because the listed base dimensions do not describe every part of the tabbed outline. The private-label page also asks buyers to confirm the base, opening, height and tab shape with a sample. A complete review should identify the feature that was examined instead of assuming that any liner with the same base number is interchangeable.
How should a buyer compare several candidates without assuming compatibility?
Create a shortlist tied to one clearly described basket or range requirement. Keep equipment details beside the liner dimensions and state what remains to be checked. Request samples of the particular formats under consideration rather than asking for an unspecified assortment. Review each candidate in the intended equipment and record your observations. If the sample reveals a measurement question, ask for clarification before you select the final format. A named model or a photograph can help start that conversation, but this published range does not provide brand-by-brand compatibility approvals.
Which paper and pack details should stay consistent during a shape review?
Record 38 gsm or 40 gsm and select natural brown or white. Zhongji lists virgin wood pulp with double-sided food-grade silicone coating for the range. Include whether you are reviewing a 50-, 100- or 200-piece pack, and choose blister packaging or an OPP bag for the packaging discussion. If several samples differ in shape as well as paper or packing, identify each difference on the review sheet. Otherwise a later approval can refer to the shape while leaving the grade, colour or retail pack uncertain.
What should the packaging review include?
Look at the liner and its intended retail pack together. Ask to review the complete packed sample, including the count and any insert card or adhesive label. The blister itself cannot be printed. Printed colour boxes are another packaging option to discuss in a private-label brief. Keep the format name and complete dimensions on the artwork approval record, and check that the images depict the version being ordered. This is a document and sample review method; it does not presume a pack dimension that the published product table does not give.
How do you keep product images matched to a shape assortment?
Create an image-to-item register before preparing a range sheet or packaging brief. For each image, record the candidate's shape, full dimensions, tabbed or plain format, and whether the photograph shows the opened liner or a packed product. Keep illustrations of a whole product family separate from photographs used to identify individual items. If a reference image does not show the feature being discussed, request a matching view before using it as the approval reference. When a candidate changes, review its image assignment as well as its written specification. This check helps the design discussion stay attached to the selected outline without turning a general product photograph into a compatibility statement.
What information should go into a shape-specific inquiry?
Send the shape, complete base measurements and height, colour, paper weight, pack count, total packs and destination. Include your basket drawing, equipment details and any unresolved opening or tab questions. Ask for sample and documentation information for that candidate. Stock sizes have no minimum order, while custom sizes and printed packaging start from 1,000 packs. Contact sales@zhongjipaper.com and explain which format you want quoted.
